The Invisible dogs

I AM HERE Urban Intervention from Felipe Carrasco G. on Vimeo.

This is a heartwarming story I just came across although the video was made in 2013, it’s well worth a share. ‘I am Here’ was made as a calling to society to raise awareness of the reality that thousands of animals live in our cities, forgotten and ignored in a world in which the routine and hectic city life leads us to forget how important our best and most loyal friends are. In major cities around the world, it is commonplace to see abandoned dogs and cats on the street. In this video, two lovely college students, Violeta Caro Pinda and Felipe Carrasco Guzman, decided to raise awareness of the plight of homeless dogs in Chile with a creative approach. They tied balloons to street dogs with phrases such as, “hug me,” “play with me” and “don’t leave me.” The heart warming video shows what a mix of creativity and compassion can do to engage strangers and spread a bit of kindness. If this doesn’t touch your heart you need help!
